This is an antique French marble top butcher's table. It is long and sturdy and features a thick marble top and an iron base with four steer heads. It is 31" tall and much like a long farm table. The marble measures 79" x 31 1/2" wide by 1 1/4" thick and it is very heavy! I would say the marble top weighs around 300 pounds and the bottom around 100 would be my estimate.The iron base has a great finish / patina with paint loss throughout. The old original marble has some minor nicks and scratches. This large table is well over 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age.
