Exceptional Pair of 1920s Brass & Alabaster Candelabra/Torchiere Floor Lamps
Tap image to advance
Here we have an outstanding pair of neoclassical brass and alabaster torchiere floor lamps. They each have seven candlestick light sockets that accept Candelabra/Chandelier (E12) size bulbs. They each measure 74" tall (plus the top bulbs and shades) x 14" in diameter. They are brass throughout (including the candlesticks) with alabaster bases. Each one has six brass feet. They have been completely disassembled, cleaned and painstakingly rewired. The former owner bought them some years ago from a Chicago hotel where they had been used in the lobby since the 1920s. The 14 cloth shades will be included. The pictures are a combination of before and after pictures, the short cords have been replaced with the longer ones shown in the 5th picture. They are being sold as a pair, one price for two floor lamps. Please scroll down to view all the pictures and feel free to ask questions.
