Here we have an antique, heavily cast, iron fireplace fireback. It features a large lions head/face and dates to before 1900. It measures 28" wide x 30" tall and weighs 61 pounds. The cast iron is at least a 1/4" thick. It is as found and has no cracks or other damage. If using in a fireplace it could benefit from a coat fireproof paint.
