Beautiful radio just acquired out of a private estate, we are able to offer this very fancy ~ US APEX SCREEN GRID RADIO made by UNITED STATES RADIO & TELEVISION CORP. This is a very unusual, fancy high-end model! I would imagine that this would have been a pretty expensive model to purchase when it was new, and not all that many were sold. It is quite large measuring 19 1/2 inches tall by 16 inches wide by 11 deep. It is also quite heavy weighing 37 pounds. It has a very nice look and would certainly stand out in any Vintage radio collection. It has been tucked away in the estate for quite some time. We did not do a thing to it and left it just the way it was when discovered in the estate. The overall condition is quite good for the age - (see pictures). The wood cabinet is absolutely beautiful, and it really displays well. The radio does work and has strong reception on most of our local stations.
